Design a beautiful event
with a beautiful range of china suitable if you're planning to celebrate the gender of your baby, organising a baby shower celebrating a Christening or naming ceremony, you may be interested in these specifically designed hire packages for a baby girl, boy or a selection of china if you would like to have a mix. Although the china has been selected you still choose your china for your package.

A package isn't for everyone, if you would prefer to choose your own china and amounts for your event, please do get in contact and I'll provide you with a bespoke quote. If you click on the 'teacup' link, you'll be able to browse the current range of teacup patterns and colours available.

If you want to introduce baby to your family and friends at the same time, why not organise a 'Sip & See', the packages suggested wouldn't necessarily be suitable. Please do get in contact with me and we can discuss what china and accessories you would need.

Why not use Little Mouse Catering to provide you with your catering. You can either opt for one of the Afternoon Tea options, or get in contact with Marissa and request the catering that you want.
For a Baby Girls

Creating Your Event
Everything that is available to hire is located in The China Boutique. View the vast range of teacups, saucers and tea plates. Decide which of the 3 tier cake stands you'd love to have at your baby event and choose the teapots that your guests will love to pour their tea from.

The range includes all of the above and cake plates, glass pedestal stands, Champagne saucers and flutes, cake plates, napkins and cutlery.
Afternoon Tea
Combine the hiring of the china and accessories with the catering for your event. There are three delicious afternoon tea menus available, in addition a child's menu too.

The Afternoon Tea Packages, combine gorgeous food, with beautiful vintage china and come either as a package, or tailored. Included in the price is the set-up at your venue (if required).
Celebrate Baby

Hiring the china is really easy, particularly if you want to have a set package, this is what you'll need:

Every guest has a teacup, saucer and tea plate, a cutlery set comprising of a teaspoon, cake fork and knife (either a tea knife or starter sized)

3 tier cake stands - you can either have four guests sharing a cake stand and add a cake plate in, just to make sure. Or you can have two guests to a cake stand. If you use Little Mouse Catering to do the catering, she only does 2 people to a cake stand.

A medium to large teapot will easily serve up to 4 guests. You'll also need a cream jug per teapot. With the sugar bowl, I'd recommend one per six guests.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS can include glass pedestal stands (suitable for whole cakes), 8" plates for savoury items, Champagne saucers (see pic), dinner plates (see pic, 10available) for layering. There are also napkins in dusky pink (30 available), 8 good quality (John Lewis).
