Vintage china brings people together and on this occasion what better way to spend an afternoon- vintage china, afternoon tea, wine and lovely people. The delemour was which china to select!!
The afternoon started with the elegance of canapés served from stunning Royal Doulton 'Richelieu' cream and gold plates, it's beauty perfect to introduce to get every one talking, with the expectation and excitement of what was to come.
At the centre of the afternoon was tasting and learning about five fab wines to serve with Afternoon Tea, through fun, chat, eating and of course drinking. So the china had to be light, breezy and with a softness. I decided to opt for just two styles and two colours, a soft marshmallow pink and yellow, accompanied by predominantly white 8" plates to give that lift and emphasis the colours.
To keep the softness I decided to opt for a set of ditsy rose 3 tier cake stands - pretty, simple and totally lovely.
All of the ditsy rose 3 tier cake stands were filled by the incredibly delicious afternoon tea catering made by Wild Flour.

With a combination of beautiful vintage china, stunning cutlery, exquisite wine glasses and amazing food, the guests had a fabulous afternoon.
Our next event, A Festive Afternoon Tea with Wine Pairings is on Saturday 25th November 2023. FULLY BOOKED.
Future events are being planned for the Spring of 2024.
